Why I use RaceStatsApp.
I have always had an interest in horse racing, and like many went from an occasional grand national bet, to the rabbit hole which is Betfair.
It's fair to say I have tried every service out there, using their race cards or form books to try and find the holy grail system.
After a lot of wasted time and money, I started to get the inevitable feeling that this wasn't the way, and I was just heading to the destination of most punters…. A loss.
It also occurred to me that most bookmakers sponsored or have an interest in ‘Form’ sites, meaning it's in their interest to make you believe that form is the way to look at horse racing.
Trainer, going, jockey etc, I started to ask myself, is this ‘traditional’ approach promoted by bookmakers for their gain?
And if all this information is so reliable then why do only 1-5% of Betfair accounts make money?
Then via X (twitter), I found RaceStatsApp.
Who am I?
I've been using RaceStatsApp for over two years.
I qualified as a stockbroker in 2007 and have worked in investments/financial services since.
Why is this relevant? I understand financial markets, risk management and think in probabilities.
I work full time and have a young family; this means I have had to adapt the way I use RSA to fit in around my commitments. And it means I miss the action most weekends and evenings.
I post my trades or 'green screens' in the RSA telegram group, and this prompted the owner to created a poll to see if anyone would be interested in a course ran by me.
I was blown away by the response, and have had over 40 current members make the investment into learning how I use RSA.
